We want to know which section was added to the Terrorism Act 2000 by Section 117(2) of the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001. So, the thing to do is to go straight off and find Section 117 and see what it says. I'm using Lexus Library here. We can go off to the “Legislation” tab and we can put in the name of the Act that we want to see which is the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 - it’s actually pre-filled it for us there. And we want particularly to look at Section 117, so we can put that in this provision box, here, and do a search.

So here is Section 117 and if we read it, it says, “the Terrorism Act 2000 is amended as follows: After Section 38 insert a new section, 38B, Information about acts of terrorism.” I’ll just scroll down to see if there's anything else that this Section does, and the answer is: no. So, the section that was added to the Terrorism Act 2000 by Section 117(2) of this particular Act was Section 38B.
